Vulnerablity Management
Innovative CSi's comprehensive cyclical practice of identifying, classifying, remediating, and mitigating vulnerabilities. The objective is to reduce risks rsulting from exploitation of published technical vulnerabilities. Innovative CSi assists your organziation in an effective, systematic and repeatable way to bulid key metrics on the effectiveness of your program. Innovative CSi process to achieve management of vulnerablities include:

Defining the organizations environment by determining what is the desired security state for their environment is by devices, users, configuration and access control rules.
Once a policy has been defined, the baseline is built to determine the true security state of the environment and where policy violations are occur.
Vulnerabilities are then prioritized according to the severity of the risk to the organization. This process can aid in the steps to minimize the damage that could impact control and ultimately the organization.
Mitigation of the root causes of vulnerabilities must be addressed to reduce the risk and exposure. Mitigation can institute a number of remedies to the vulnerablity to the organization.
Organizations' computing environments are dynamic and evolve over time, as do security policy requirements. In addition, additional security vulnerabilities are always being identified. For this reason, vulnerability management is an ongoing process rather than a point-in-time event.
